Successful leadership is a result of many different skills, attitudes and behaviors. Since these attributes can be learned, anyone can become more effective as a leader with practice and effort. Just as the muscles in our body grow stronger with exercise, our leadership ability improves the more we train it.
Knowing this, it would make sense for everyone to incorporate leadership training into their daily routine. Most of us have some type of fitness or wellness plan, but how many of us have an established leadership development plan? Not many people do – but we all should.
In my next few blog posts, I’m going to provide you with tips and strategies for putting together your own leadership training “workout.” From simple exercises you can do once to ongoing activities to develop your strengths, I’ll help you develop your leadership ability so that you can be at the top of your game.
